Diolaze XL is highly effective at removing hair from various parts of the body, including the face, legs, arms, underarms, and bikini area. The system utilizes a larger spot size than traditional laser hair removal systems, allowing for faster treatment times and more efficient hair removal.
One of the unique features of Diolaze XL is its built-in cooling technology, which minimizes discomfort during the procedure. The cooling system uses a contact-cooling handpiece to provide a comfortable treatment experience and protect the surrounding skin from heat damage.

Pre-treatment:
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least two weeks prior to treatment.
- Shave the treatment area one day prior to your appointment.
- Avoid using any creams or lotions on the treatment area on the day of your appointment.
- Let your provider know of any medication you are taking or any medical conditions you have.
- Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water before and after treatment.
Post-treatment:
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least two weeks after treatment.
- Do not apply any creams, lotions or makeup to the treated area for 24 hours after the procedure.
- Avoid hot showers or baths, saunas, or exercising for 24 hours after treatment.
- Apply a cold compress or ice pack to the treated area if there is any redness or swelling.
- Use sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 on the treated area if going out in the sun.
- Do not pick or scratch at any scabs that may form on the treated area.
- Do not have any other hair removal treatments, such as waxing or tweezing, for at least four weeks after treatment.
- Follow any additional instructions provided by your provider for optimal results.
Most people experience a mild sensation of heat during the treatment, but it is generally well-tolerated and not painful.
The number of Diolaze XL treatments required depends on the individual's skin type, hair type, and the targeted area. Typically, several treatments are needed for optimal results.
There is no downtime after Diolaze XL treatment. Most people can resume normal activities immediately after the treatment.
