Xeomin
Overview
Xeomin is a Botulinum Toxin, which is a protein that has been used for cosmetic purposes to treat wrinkles and fine lines on the face. Xeomin works by temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause wrinkles, resulting in a smoother and more youthful appearance. The benefits of Xeomin extend beyond cosmetic use, with the protein being used to treat a range of medical conditions such as chronic migraines, muscle spasms, and excessive sweating. Xeomin injections are generally safe and provide quick results, making it a popular choice for those seeking a non-invasive way to achieve a more youthful look or alleviate medical conditions. However, it’s important to note that Xeomin should only be administered by a licensed medical professional.
Because of its FDA approval, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and aestheticians alike trust Xeomin for on-label and off-label use. The company that distributes the protein, Merz Pharmaceuticals, designed Xeomin to be one of the purest forms of botulinum type A, which is why it’s sometimes called the naked injectable.

During Your Botox Treatment:
- Our medical professional will first conduct a thorough consultation to understand your goals and expectations.
- They will then determine the appropriate dose of Botox and inject it into the targeted area using a fine needle.
- The procedure is quick and relatively painless, with most clients experiencing little to no discomfort.
After Your Botox Treatment:
- Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area for at least 24 hours.
- Refrain from consuming alcohol and engaging in strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours.
- Avoid lying down or bending over for at least four hours after your treatment.

Botox is a safe treatment when performed by a trained and experienced medical professional. However, as with any medical procedure, there are risks and potential side effects that your provider will discuss with you.
Botox results typically last 3-6 months, depending on the individual's metabolism and the treated area's muscle strength.
Botox injections are generally well-tolerated, with only minimal discomfort reported by most patients. Your provider may apply a numbing cream or ice pack to the injection site beforehand to reduce any discomfort.
