Reveal your Glow. Fine crystals of pure, natural sea salt are projected through a unique handpiece that’s swept across the skin. Sea salt is both a natural healing element and will hold moisture in at a cellular level, making it an ideal treatment for all skin types. This painless first step removes the dead skin layer that dulls the complex ion and challenges even the best skin care products to absorb effectively. Circulation and oxygenation are key to healthy, beautiful skin. This relaxing second step increases microcirculation, which helps topically applied products absorb down deep where they can be most effective. The SaltFacial ® Phototherapy uses powerful LED light energy to super-charge cell turnover, helping skin heal and become more beautiful, naturally. This third and final step is completely pain-free and so relaxing that many patients fall asleep during this part of the treatment.

Pre-Treatment:
- Discontinue use of Retin-A, retinol, glycolic, or beta-hydroxy acid products of any type for 5 days prior to treatment.
- No chemical peels or mechanical exfoliation for 10 days prior to treatment.
- Avoid sun exposure. Apply SPF 30+ as needed throughout the day.
Post-Treatment:
- Avoid using all products that contain Retin-A, retinol, glycolic acid, or beta-hydroxy acid for 3 to 5 days post-treatment.
- Resume your normal skincare regimen as directed by your skincare professional.
- AM & PM: Cleanse the treated area with a gentle, non-drying cleanser and pat dry.
- Apply a light moisturizer to keep skin hydrated and comfortable.
- Keep any scabbed areas lightly covered with an occlusive barrier gel or ointment to encourage healing.
- DO NOT pick, peel, pull, or scrub the scabs off the skin. Doing so may cause permanent damage and potential scarring. Allow scabbed areas to slough off naturally.
- Avoid all products that contain Retin-A, retinol, glycolic acid, or beta-hydroxy acid for a minimum of 5 days post-treatment.
- Apply SPF 30+ as needed throughout the day.
- When going outdoors, always wear a hat or sun visor. DO NOT expose the treated area to sunlight, even on cloudy days without complete sun protection.
- Resume your normal skincare regimen as directed by your skincare professional.
The Salt Facial machine uses a combination of natural sea salt, ultrasound technology, and LED light therapy to exfoliate the skin, improve circulation, and stimulate collagen production.
The Salt Facial is generally well-tolerated and not painful. Some people may experience mild discomfort or redness during or after the treatment.
The frequency of Salt Facial sessions depends on the individual's needs and skincare goals. Most people can benefit from monthly or bi-monthly treatments for best results.
